Reading a quite lovely morning post on Ann’s blog today and then the comments that followed made me wonder about this.
And wouldn't you know it! Today, I came across this:

Well, he did have a point about bumblenut legislators and what odd thought patterns might lead them to defund the law school. And we do wonder when you seem to sneak a bit of work into all those overseas jaunts, if that's necessary window-dressing for work write-offs or something.
Seems like an afterthought, a chore, not your top priority. So that suggests you are doing it for ulterior purposes. So let the legislators sulk. I'm sure they are plenty compensated for their work too.
Write offs? I wish!
Say and think what you will, I refuse to write about my work here. Completely, deliberately. I love teaching. End of story for Ocean purposes.
